Sorry folks, for the extra-long podcast. This week, in light of Pope Francis's recent troublesome comments, Dan & Eric discuss other religions--what the Catholic Church teaches about them and how we should interact with the members.

This week Eric joins Jason again (now dubbed the Ambassador of Common Nonsense) and they talk about transgenders… how does a Catholic react to a man who thinks he's a woman?

This week Eric and Jason (Dan is on a cruise somewhere) discuss some of the fundamental points on abortion: what it is and why we're against it as Catholics. We go over the different kinds of abortion, and the fact that they haven't changed much in the last 30 years. We also talk about some of the ridiculous arguments for abortion, and why they are wrong.

Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Nonsense) discuss the latest Gillette commercial depicting men as historically toxic, and ask what's wrong with some of the more harmless masculine behavior. Are these attitudes harming today's young men? Is there any cure for it?

Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Nonsense) talk about the Covington Catholic high schoolers who were harassed, first by the "Black Israelites," then by a group of Native Americans, then by the secular media, and finally by their own Bishop. Absolutely disghusting… and we're still waiting for the apology from the Diocese of Covington Kentucky.

Let's face it--today's music is hokey, fluffy, and intellectually shallow. Why? And why is it this way practically across the board, in every Catholic church in the US?

This week Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Non-sense) discuss the plight of American Indians and whether the 'White Man' was justified in taking their land. Did Americans try, in any way, to peacefully convert them… and did they even ALLOW the Native Americans to assimilate?

The Reality of an Eternal Hell: God made man for eternal life, and this nature of man does not change when we rebel against God. Hell is a place where our existence continues, but our chance for grace is gone.

Is it a test? Does He even care? Obviously, we didn't completely answer the age-old query in an hour-long podcast… but we might mention something you haven't thought of. Warning--if you're suffering right now, and you want to know why, we're probably not going to make you feel much better.

This week is Veteran's day, and we want to thank Jason… unfortunately, he didn't show.  But more importantly: how to talk to people about abortion--especially those with whom we disagree.  How do we keep it from becoming a fight?  When do we walk away?  When is it better to plant a seed and let it grow?
